Last year Waves of Tech performed a review of Blackberry’s PocketMac syncing application.  (Previous Blackberry PocketMac Article) This inferior product left Blackberry users with Mac’s having to purchase third party products in order to phone sync.  Blackberry has finally redeemed themselves with the release of Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac.

The new Desktop Manager is clean, simple to use and provides accuracy to syncing.  The application will sync calendar items, contacts, notes, tasks, and music.  The Blackberry Desktop Manger also contains back up and restore functions, application removal and update capabilities.

Blackberry’s Desktop Manager for Mac is long over due and has been developed well, although a few minor issues were noted in 64 bit mode.  If you are a Mac user with a Blackberry phone, this is a must have application.
